Australia Map

We arrived in Melbourne from Auckland and took a flight with Virgin Blue to Adelaide in South Australia. From there we visited the wine growing regions of the Barossa Valley and drove to Melbourne via the Great Ocean Road. From Melbourne we travelled to the nation's capital - Canberra and then on to Sydney. We flew Virgin Blue to Cairns and again travelled by car first north to the end of the sealed road - Cape Tribulation and then south to Brisbane. Along the way we managed to visit the Great Barrier Reef and Fraser island. Cyclone activity in the Pacific prevented us from seeing more of the Great Barrier Reef and "stingers" meant not much beach time up north.
